- Established under the auspices of the IAF educational and cultural society, Air Force School Akkulam came into existence in October 2000. Its primary objective is to provide Pre-Primary education to the children of Air force personnel stationed at HQ SAC. Over the years, the school’s vision has expanded, and as of 1st April 2021, it was upgraded to a primary school.
- The school’s growth has been steady and remarkable. Beginning with grade I on 1st April 2021, subsequent grades have been introduced in a phased manner. On 1st April 2022, grade II was introduced, followed by Grade III on 1st April 2023. Notable, on 1st June 2023, Air Force School Akkulam extended its admissions to include Pre-Kg students, broadening its educational outreach.
